You will have superb interpersonal and communication skills relevant to the role as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of peers, commercial sales, and marketing. The ability to live and work in San Jose for 12 weeks starting mid-June 2024.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Together with the Sr. Manager, design and implement experiments for strategic, high impact applications/workflows as proof of concept in alignment with the team goals, including but not limited to quantitative and discovery based metabolomics and lipidomics.

  • Active in the analysis, presentation and technical writing of all completed projects over the internship period

Requirements for the role

  • Ph.D degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or related field preferred

  • Upbeat, goal-oriented self-starter with a strong executive presence, collaborative demeanor, and ability to think strategically and analytically

  • Proven understanding of research and development processes with the ability to present to strategy, product management and R&D leadership.

  • Superb oral, written communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to present scientific and business information to peers and executives

  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $14.75–$45.75.
