Over two and a half days, we will have approximately 65 oral presentations of some of the most exciting and innovative work in the field, with sessions embracing all of the major subdisciplines... from computation to experiment, and from biomedical applications to plant studies to technology development. We have also allocated sessions in the main schedule for interest groups to gather to help shape the future of their own sub-disciplines and to make metabolomics a more vibrant, collaborative, and innovative discipline.

We have also put great emphasis on making this conference accessible for trainees and early-career scientists. Beyond the regular speaker slots occupied by early-career scientists, we will also have a session of “lightning round” oral presentations for the most innovative and exciting work from early-career scientists from the poster sessions.  There will also be multiple social and networking opportunities for early-career scientists.  On the more practical side, the low registration fee and cost of travel to Atlanta make it a perfect venue for a lab to send all of its trainees to delve deeper into the field.
